I created this web site to provide information about my sub-specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility so that patients and non-patients can be better informed about my practice. Your comments or questions, whether you are a current or future patient, a relative of a patient, a friend, or any interested person, are welcome (e-mail: email@example.com). I will attempt to respond to them promptly. You can learn about my professional background (see “About” and “Bio“); browse an update of recent medical articles of interest or commentaries; and read about topics of interest (see “Educate me!“). As a gynecologist, I see patients for routine examinations as well as common gynecological problems (e.g. abnormal bleeding, infections, pelvic pain, endometriosis, contraception). As a Reproductive Endocrinologist, I help patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), puberty or menopause issues (including hormone replacement therapy), abnormal ovulation, birth defects of the vagina or uterus, abnormal sexual development, hirsutism (excess hair), endometriosis, and menstrual disorders. As an infertility specialist, I diagnose the causes of infertility and provide simple or complex treatment such as education, artificial insemination with husband or donor sperm, in vitro fertilization (IVF), ovulation induction with oral or injectable medications (including clomiphene, letrozole, metformin, gonadotropins). I also perform reproductive surgery via laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and laparotomy.
